If you read all the books we gave out this summer, then you read at least three books.  People who read a lot get smarter and become better readers.  I hope you enjoyed these fun books.  I know I did.

Chapter 18 - Still Waiting

The author ends the book with this sentence, "And so far as I know, they are still waiting."  This sentence is evidence of one of the farmers' character traits.  What character trait would you use to describe the farmers?

Badger is concerned that stealing from the farmers is wrong.  How does Mr. Fox convince him that it is ok to steal from the farmers?  Do you agree with Mr. Fox?  Why or why not?
